<doc><name>Men’s Fishing Camp</name>
<head>May 13-15th, directed by Gary Larson</head><story>
Men, fathers, and sons, let’s go fishing at Cuba Lake, Rushford Lake, or Case Lake.
Bring your small, trailered boats and we’ll tell stories, make plans, buddy up, and head out.
Only $50 per person. We’ll need guys to bring their boats and be willing to have new friends fish with them.
Gary Larson has been a counselor, director, and board member for Camp Duffield for 30 years. He is a retired Presbyterian Pastor living in Olean, NY.
The camp is a new idea. I envision 4, or 6, or 8 guys to be able to bring their trailerable boats, and then as many others to sign up who don't have boats of their own. The idea is to buddy up in boats and meet new friends.
All boats are expected to be licensed, with adequate number of PFD's, and boat safely equipment. It is expected that each person will arrive with a valid NYS fishing licence, fishing pole and tackle, and their own bait.
Friday night be used to gather and plan the "attack". Saturday, after breakfast, you will pack lunches and carpool and caravan to the choosen lake. Cuba might be the best, but Rushford could work also.
By late afternoon, we'll head back to camp and clean fish together (bring a fillet knife). Then supper, the sharing of stories about how the biggest one got away. And a repeat, more or less, on the next day Sunday.
Experienced, or new to it, come one, come all.
