Cooking Camp
July 26-29th, directed by Lanna Waterman
For three days you will learn the basics of cooking! You will learn to cook, preparing foods, cooking foods, eating what you prepare, and cleaning up afterwards.
You will be staying at Keeler Lodge and using the kitchen to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
As a group we will discuss menus and shopping for groceries, and then prepare, eat, and clean up.
By the time you go home you will be able to fix a great meal for your friends and family. Yummy! It beats chips and fast food!
Worried that it'll be all work?
Not to fear, we'll have time to swim, have arts and crafts, go for hikes, and all the other fun stuff that is available at Camp Duffield.
We'll end each day with smores around the campfire, singing songs, telling stories, and dreaming of our next scrumptious meal!
Lanna Waterman has counseled and directed at Camp Duffield for over 20 years.
She is a first grade teacher in Cuba, NY. and recently opened a Quilting (and cookies) Store with three friends in Olean.
